Tiny Pilot Limitation

    Hi Support,

I have one Pi-KVM which is working fine with every Intel Core i Series server. However, when it connects to some of the Intel Xeon E3/E5 servers, it will have display problems. For example, Intel Xeon E3-1220v5 and E5-2603v3. May I know whether Tiny Pilot will face the same problem?

Hi Lavine, thank you for reaching out with your question about compatibility.

TinyPilot takes input over a standard HDMI connection, so as long as your server is using a supported resolution and refresh rate it should work correctly. The processor shouldn’t affect this directly, but it’s plausible that the Intel Xeon E3/E5 servers have a different standard display configuration when compared to the Intel Core i Series servers.
